Just FYI: I've had a couple people let me know that I'm not replying to their e-mails. My e-mail has been acting up for a while now and things get spammed just because. I don't check my spam box and it auto-empties once a day.. I got really tired of adds trying to enlarge my male bits; my size is just fine, thank you!!! *groan*

Please PM on DoA or drop me a line here with your e-mail addy and I'll reply ASAP!

Also, I'm not taking new commission until the first week of September and I will only take five per month. Blond man, kids, cats, dogs, school, laundry, food when I can... not enough time...

Need honest feedback and info

What do you guys know about Pitbulls? I need all the info I get from you guys, please. The good, the bad and the ugly. I know the reputation they have but I don't want the media hype.

We are thinking about maybe rescuing/adopting a puppy and, one of the puppies needing a home is a Pitbull mix. he is the most adorable little guy we've seen so far but I need real input from people who actually have had them.

On other news, not that it’s that interesting but I'll whine about it anyway. My knees are bad… weeeelllll... fix them!.... weeeelllll... we can't right now.... because???... awkward pause/change of subject/scribbling of pain med prescription...

I assume that my knees are like them megaliths of Stonehenge, nobody knows what the fuck is up with them!

The medical system in this country is *insert huge question mark here*

I wobble around like a drunken crab, which makes my kid explode in hysterical fits of laughter about every couple of hours! She says I look like Yoda, except I have hair and boobs! Smart-assed children are very over-rated!

~ On a happy note: dolls!!!

There's just one teeny mistake on the article describing one of the dolls:

Its not really a big deal but I hope they fix it. >_<

I am really proud of this project and of myself! I'm proud that I stepped up to the plate and did a good job even though I didn't know what I was doing. I had no clue since I'd never done anything like this before and pulled this whole thing off basically out of my ear LOL! I learned a lot though and for that I'm very grateful. The dolls I worked on were very beautiful and I was lucky to get to paint them.

I also have a re-newed sense of respect for everybody involved in the publishing business. The amount of work involved is mind boggling. Meeting deadlines, changing deadlines, the pix must to be just right; the size, the lighting, the shadows or lack of, the poses, the accesories, the background, etc... The whole process is so complicated and detail oriented that I'm amazed that anything gets published at all. Its exhausting!

Everybody involved deserves a long cruise in the Caribbean! That includes you Vampyra! You're leading the conga line!

I never, ever thought I'd take pix for the cover of a major doll magazine and actually get it published. I've gotten published before but this is a very different thing. I look at the pic and I can't believe it!

Damn and wow.

~Edit: I'm going to wait to post the pix of the other dolls. I want to know what the other artists involved think first. Fenrir is the only doll I worked on that is mine.~

This was the doll that got me addicted to ABJDs. The first time I saw Lucas I knew I had been assimilated... Whenever I get the chance to work on a Lucas, I get that feeling all over again. I will never get tired of this sculpt! He's like the boy version of Choa; working on him always makes me happy. ^^
